View Full Version : Same Team Of Bottlers As Last Year?
Yesterdays performance in my opinion was just like Strachans team towards the end of last season... I keep hearing all this stuff about fast free flowing attacking football and I'm yet to see it apart from against St Johnstone..
Fact yesterday was that only 1 of Mowbrays signings finished the game, the other one was subbed and Fortune was in the stand injured.
I'm not jumping on the managers back as I believe he will do a good job but should he have been backed more to bring in his OWN players to stamp his authority over the team or is it still early days? We really missed Aiden yesterday althought McGinn had a good game. I also can't understand starting with 1 striker on the pitch at home.. Thoughts?

Sorry I've not been on in a wee bit. I think we were shocking against hapoel. They're not a team we should really struggle against, but they had a howler. Especially with us having been in a winning position.

1 player in particular from strachans days is samaras, its about time he got his finger out and played chris killen hes alot sharper and quicker than georgues george ,it seems as if celtic take there foot of the pedal when they go a goal up,even 2 ,they do play football but i think they still do what strachan was doing more or less trying to walk the ball in to the net, someone should tell them that theyre allowed to shoot outside the box ,it is said that celtic origanally followed or copied the attacking football of an english team right now i cant remember but the teams name is on the tip of my tongue,i dont want to say the team i have in mind in case its wrong and people laugh one things 4 sure the team is not in englands top flight
In my opinion McManus should be chased out of Celtic Park along with Gary Caldwell. We have a perfectly good centre half that we loaned out.. Darren O Dea. The goals we lost today were a disgrace.
Kenny Miller pushing bigger, stronger guys off the ball. He even mishit both shots. The first he nearly fucked up and the second Artur got a hand to it but couldnt stop it going in. I think we'll win the league but we need to get our act together.
One good thing I think from todays game was Zeng Zhi.. the guy looked the part. Not many players can go into their first older firm game - not to mention his first game for Celtic - and look that comfortable. Hope he becomes a big player for us.

I was really impressed with zheng zhi. My friend thought he was Nakamura :D
On Samaras I really think it's time for him to go. He had a decent start to his career here but no whenever he plays it's like we have ten players and the other team has twelve. All he's done all season is loose the ball.

He's been terrible I agree. Zhi was looking good tho, not many players can handle their first Old Firm game nevermind their first game for Celtic. Thought he did great.
